i usually never care about the drama between translator or who actually translate the webtoon. but damn. respect to salty scan team! yall r awesome. such a high quality translation and you guys seems to genuinely like the series. i hope we will see more translation from u guys. the corners often made me laugh. thank you guys for taking your time and translating it x

the way i immediately find chloe annoying as a man... the way claude act is so out of character. it doesnt feel like the same chara anymore. i absolutely love the dinamic between chloe and blaire. and when chloe turns to claude, i just got this icky feeling. he's a stranger to blaire give the girl some space lmao
anyone has a good yuri recommendation tho lmao

damn. for someone who doesn't care about my opinion you sure reply to me a lot huh.
i see this webtoon from blaire's perspective. when claude is still as chloe, he NEVER invade her space like that, at least if he did it was consent. once again, claude is a stranger to her. if only he introduce himself first, give blaire some space and time to process it. and well if she's finally comfortable around him then he can probably get closer, with her consent too. it was way too soon, at least for me. it doesn't matter if claude give her a warm smile because blaire. doesnt. know. him. at least not with that physical.

this webtoon feels gay and homophobic at the same time

so for a whole 40 chapter we follow the story of chloe and blaire, how they met and how their relationship develops. throughout the story I can't help but see chloe as a woman. not a man. because i see things from blaire's perspective and blaire has no idea chloe's a he. you can clearly see she blushed and flustered couple of times. for me, i can see blaire developed feelings towards her. but then chloe suddenly turns to a man, to claude. and pushing himself onto blair who has no idea who he is. he's basically a stranger to her. so to me, it feels a little um... queerbating? of course context matter and im sure that's not what the author meant. but ive been enjoying the story between "two women" almost feels like im reading yuri. but then she turns to a man and well im not very comfortable seeing how claude behaviour towards blaire. just my opinion tho. that's the whole purpose of the webtoon i guess since it's on the title but i cant help but to feel a bit icky

Indeed how? It never established itself to be Yuri in the first place from the title and they even spoiled it that She is a man in the first chapter. You are allow and have the right to be disappointed that it didn’t turn out the way you hope for but I don’t understand and don’t think it’s right to claim this story is homophobic.

no but the idea feels like it. look im not a sjw. it's just how i felt when reading it. of course, once again, i do believe the author meant no harm. just the way the author made blaire "fell in love" with chloe. but then a "stranger" come to her claiming he was chloe and pushing himself onto blaire. i felt uncomfortable for her. and once again, it's how i felt reading it. not necessarily calling out the webtoon.

And there is no point in going into defensive mode, because when you make a comment that someone doesn't like and disagree with what was said, you have to have an idea that someone is going to say something contrary, and honestly I don't care about your opinion either. the homophobic story, I say that its context in talking about it, doesn’t make any sense. Because your view of the story is completely erroneous, Blair has no romantic feelings for Chloe, much less for Claude. She always saw her / him as a family, and the idea of coming as a yuri and saying that is homophobic is wrong and fuck it. Stop saying things the wrong contest. No one is forced to read this and be quiet.

Gay and Homophobic , I somewhat understand the first part since Claude was acting as Chloe for a while as protection and he was falling in love with Blair and I don’t really know if it was vice versa as well or Blair just saw Chloe as a family but Homophobic ? It was clearly shown — SINCE THE FIRST CHAPTER —and by the TITLE that this was going to be STRAIGHT. But Uhm , if you don’t like it , just drop it instead of reading it and getting frustrated with it and calling it homophobic for no damn reason. Like - are you going to start assuming Blair’s sexuality or something too ? And also , Claude wasn’t comfortable with being Chloe , if you have read it carefully you would’ve known that it hurt him.

aside from the borderline pedophilia i really like this. both are brave enough to show affection but also gets flustered if they got caught of guard. abel is cute too. plot is getting thicker. love the novel persona problem. for once the novel actually meant something. ashame that the translator have to use the term "stan" bcs i need a drink everytime i read that word. it's too cringey for me.

When they mention about their age gap it really turned me off tbh. Cedric even realize that it was weird and quoting from him "i feel shameless". Ngl, this story reminds me of Your Throne. Strong "villain ish" mc with revenge plot (even tho im not sure if her goal is still to take revenge on her bro or just to survive). It's just that comparing it to medea this mc is... flat. Idk. Her personality isn't that strong imo. She was portrayed as cold and stoic in the most boring way. Prolly just me. Idk.
i almost scream when i found out phi is indonesian and smoking kretek cig LMAO. this is hands down the best work of zaria. the freakin tension, the sex, THE EMOTION. oof. the memes r top tier too. i literally cheer when phi cum LMAO. waiting for next update impatiently.
Wait where does it say he is Indonesian?
Isnt Phi only stated that he likes gudang garam cigarette? Or is there some info I miss
Okay i was confused because I tho it was verbally stated he was. Still trying to figure out where the story is taking place
right. i forgot the fact that gudang garam doesn't sell their cig only in indonesia. i just kinda put two in two together since sangharia is located on archipelago somewhere in asia. and they talk about the strict rule of having a "brothel" and "the main land" is kinda conservative. and the fact that phi is dark skinned so he might be a south asian. it's a guest, so...
