Its not only just towards someone you love...having a masochistic personality is when someone feels that its their fault and they deserve to be punished. Some people doesn't know they have this personality, they think its normal, some think its just them being kind or nice but truthfully they have this personality. Look at our seme, see how he thinks that it might be because of his pheromones that's why keith is acting that way, he's validating that cruel act of keith.
