I DIDNT EXPECT THE COUPLE FROM SPILLED BLOOD ARE ACTUALLY YOONHEOS BROTHERS
this has been marinating in my list since this was published and today was the day that i decided to finish this manhwa. I was one of the few from the first few chapters that actually fell in love with the characters especially skylar, i remember so much hate comments back in the day. But i knew that this story special from the get go. It is so raw, human, and the pinnacle of yearning. 2993844782920/5 stars. highly reccomend
My guilty pleasure is definitely reading about some forbidden/taboo love but this just didn't for me as much as it did for others. I am somewhat confused about how people praised the writing? I find it cliche, boring, but also melodramatic. There's definitely better mangas with the same topics and much enhanced and well paced writing. Not for me 2/5 stars
THAT WAS SO GOOD WTF, I LITERALLY FORGOT THIS WAS A ONE SHOT WDYM THATS WHERE IT ENDS
I might be a minority here but oh my fucking gosh do i love this manga with my very heart. It's been a while since I've read an actually amazing psychological dissection of unsettling thoughts and feelings without the feeling of it being wrong but instead innate to the characters and how they navigate through that dilemma. This gripped me and I will be thinking throughout my life about this, it's just so beautifully written and crafted despite such taboo topics. I particularly adore the weird dynamic that Kei and the girl have in which they have this sort of silent understanding of one's fucked up situation kinda reminiscent of the relationship between wendy and niel from mysterious skin in a way. It sucks that she went the way she did but it was inevitable considering what her psyche was in that state. And my goodness, Sai i think is the most interesting out of the bunch. We are always presented that he was the normal one but he truly isn't, how easily did he carve out his skin just for her brother, how interconnected they are not just by blood but by their minds and feelings. The only thing that dissatisfied me about this is that it was far too short, I was ready to dove in to the brothers' fucked up parasitic relationship in another level but alas. Overall, i think top 10 reads of the year so far and ive read a lot this year, 192929293393/10
i might be a minority here but i actually found the story not well developed at all. I am normally not disturbed easily by unconventional (somewhat illegal) tropes in fiction but i felt like the author didn't quite deliver the age regression part of the story making me a bit uncomfortable of the dynamics. Not only that, i just felt like this is so poorly paced, like a lot happens but not really flesh out. I actually found the older brother complex thingy the most interesting out of here. I love the characters and their design, i just wished that i could enjoy the story more. 3/5 stars
I love how diverse the couples are and how each and every character shined even the ones that we didnt think were important. Truly a perfect found family manhwa. I was really surprised in how mature and catered to gay audience this is. The talks about mental health, actually being gay, and dynamics between socializing. This was also so fucking funny like one of the funniest bl manhwa ive read in a long time. So wholesome too. I bit nitpicking that i discovered was that it was a bit too convenient for the characters in resolving plot conflicts but i loved the end where despite all of this development,.there are still life problems that the characters hadnt resolved and im fine with that. Its really realistic in that sense especially the last few panels about the characters relationship with their parents about their sexuality. Overall a solid read. 9/10 which means its 5/5 stars
honestly the plot is getting spicier and im vibing with it BUT for the love of god dont let him be an omega. I specifically read this so i can indulge in some beta x alpha goodness aka THE BEST ABO VERSE TROPE.
I kept on having this weird feeling that this was something familiar and that it had a similar style of a manhwa i read before. I thought it was love is an illusion but nah its too different but then I SAW THE SEME CRY and it clicked. It literally reminds me of dawn of the deagon, the artstyle, the characters, and just the overall vibe. This was such a good but short read 4 stars!
Yeah yeah the mls basically a yandere and the uke is enabling his shit but that whats makes this so different than other stories similar to this one. Uke knows how to handle his ml's tendencies and actually i think its cute. The yearning throughout this manhwa is SO GOOD, idk what you all are on about it being scarier than similar types of manhwa, you know whats truly scary "Formless", the ml freaked me the fuck out, hes truly batshit insane. Anyways, i enjoyed reading this but i wish it was longer tbfr, i would love to see more of the characters 4/5 stars
The progression from the 1st act snd 2nd act WAS SO GOOD! But that last act, everything falls apart. The characters, relationship, and the plotline just seemed so rushed and sudden. Not to mention that go awful ending, i wouldnt say that i wasted my time but it is a bummer that with such a good premise and so much potential be cut off short by whatever the external factors the author is experiencing. Up until ch 60 it was so good but i could smell from a mile away that this would have this kind of ending. And you know what's the saddest part in my opinion? that the cycle still continues even in the future because the mc is still longing for a different version of a man that he knew, and that just what truly devastates me in this story. 3/5 stars
I typically enjoy reading possessive mls/yandares in my manhwa rotation but ive never felt genuinely scared at an ml like ive been with this one and ive read some fucked up shit. this isnt even that bad toxicity wise than what im used to but the way the artist depicts the ml is just jarring especially when one moment its all sweet then the other not. the shading and colour they used is just so good at making you feel at what the mc is feeling. i did finish this in 2 hours and am ready to see how it progresses, definetelu not 5 star material tho.
I am so glad that there isnt too much of a focus on the omegaverse, i avoided this cuz of it but ill gladly read slicks and heats in the future just so i can see the ending of this. Such a good premise and the characters are all so lovable! im def letting this marinate
i actually find the premise and the plot super interesting. i have a soft spot for brocon relationships and hunterverse so i was all in it.
The art is already pretty good, i love the semes eyes particularly but the lack of time truly did show here. The whole pacing is an absolute mess like- so much could be done, the first 15 ch truly did feel like the beginning of it all (i hate that they fucked for the first time on the dungeon tho after seeing the corpse mygoodness was that jarring) but the side story just lacked so much still im glad that this was explored. solid 3.5/5 stars, rip author-nim
IDC WHAT YALL THINK, I LOVE THE CONCEPT, I LOVE THE ART, I LOVE EVERYTHING SO FAR! I dont usually read omega/alpha comics but im SAT. Who cares about morals, yall are literally reading FICTIONAL, YAOI, in a ILLEGAL site. The door os right there
I love the setting and the plot, the begining arc was really good and i love the child regression part too but the author falls flat at executing the end in a neat bow as well as properly giving the characters the development that they deserve and the relationship dynamic that they shouldve had. This couldve been avoided if it was longer and if the author took care of the characters better and found a balance between the obsession/possessive of the main 3 characters. I do not mind most of the explicit noncon and dubcon situation if there was proper build up and a justification that feels appropriate to the characters but this story just made me uncomfortable during these scenes instead of indulgent. so much potential indeed. 3/5
