He's rude, immature, selfish... even though the story is being told from Dan's perspective, this's no way to treat another human being.
Perfect Redemption would be Jk losing the world champion belt - never being able to fight again because of the shoulder injury - losing sight of Dan and by chance seeing him happy with someone else - losing the coach's respect and being kicked out of the gym, losing everything one after the other until only what money buys is left - and to win people back he will have to evolve as a human being! I don't want Dan with that piece of shit.
