a very realistic and raw portrayal of the characters’ thoughts and feelings throughout their ordeal. very good story telling, very realistic depiction of what it will be like for two damaged and affection starved people to form attachments to each other. dont blame this on them, blame it on their parents LMAO eitherways, humans make a lot of mistakes and when there is no constant support and love in their lives, it would be too easy to go bonkers. i like that they settled their shit properly and came to a mutual conclusion that they want to improve together. they really do need each other!! this is not considered romanticism as the authors have portrayed rape, kidnapping and obsession in its full fuckery and horror. if u find that romantic, thats on u lmao
