About Grayson's attitude toward Chase, he actually really care for Chase, (this little virgin) do not want to touch other. Grayson being abnormal(my word) , apparently he doesn't know feelings , he just imitated it. For him Chase doing it with a dog is the best course of action at that time to save Chase.

we can try to understand the reason of why grayson turned out to be such a fuck up shit but also not defend their actions. traumas and mental health issues don't justify how horribly you treat others. again, we can try to understand but condemn their actions at the same time.
