I think after his suicide attempt Lucy got back with him and they kept going until the marriage. But as I see, it wasn't love. They were using each other as support and that happines that Chance displayed in front of Henry in the day of the engagment was more because he had Henry by his side and also Lucy, than just for having Lucy, the woman he "loved". Like, if Lucy didn't marry him in the end he would still be able to keep going as long he had Henry, but if Henry left him even, if he had Lucy, in some point the things would go dark, because Henry is really the person he can't live without. If this is love or just dependence I don't know, but it's surely the strongest feeling he has for someone. And it's even stronger right now.

Although i would prefer the second alternative ending, the first one is more realistic and fits the story more. What makes me confused is that in the first ending, is the dude jaeha or not? Because he didnt listen to the future yeonho and went to the graduation and died, again. But for some reason it feels like he didnt and because he changed the past, yeonho had to suffer the same fate (well in this case, jaeho would actually suffer bc rip to his love lol) Regardless of the confusion, just the thought of it being jaeha and yeonho dying made me physically hurt.
