So basically Sid is a traitor , Cain trusts him as his man and a friend , so when Cain got Injured after his fight with Satan , he askedSid to look for a powerful doctor who actually dissapeared for 500 years , and since finding him will be hard Cain even gave the power compass to Sid (it’s like a rally powerful tool not anyone has it but since Cain is a strong demon you got it ) soooo Sid gave the compass to another demon and told him to find the doctor and kill him ! That way Cain will not be cured and will die cause of his injury , sorry if my English is bad I hope I helped you a little
