Okay but I really appreciate the subtle hints that 002 figured something was off the moment 003 mentioned the people coming after Ijin because they all knew and believed that Ijin did not in fact try to kill any of the Numbers pursuing him
I already see Dusik being involved from a miles away but burst out laughing when he appears at the end anyway
It's great to see the manhwa taking a bit of a break from all the shady organization stuff to focus a little more on Ijin's friends and their issues. Also probably some good old mass ass-kicking
So looks like in the OG timeline Aedi ended up botching things up with the dragons. While it would probably be unfair to lay the blame on his feet for the previous timeline's failure, it's kind of hard not to when we know that pretty much everyone that actually knows a damn about how their world works and had a stake in protecting it or at least part of it are practically screaming at anyone who might be able to do it to "Please kill us/the dragons!!!" and he did everything in his power to be thick about it
Season 2 had been really disappointing so far. I feel like the author is grasping at straws trying to come up with a plot. Everyone reading knows that the whole plot would be solved the moment Kibong got involved, so there isn't really any suspense.
It's fine in Season 1 because there's always more or less simultaneous action. Like Kibong is either fighting alongside the other characters or the other characters are fighting the lackeys while Kibong is dealing with the big boss, but Season 2 had just been the side characters fighting or bickering with each other while Kibong is having a leisurely stroll. So not only does the intrigue doesn't work, the action isn't really working either.
Bahahahahaha I actually burst out laughing when the guy starts going "Zephyr don't know the true nature of this world". My guy. My dude. He's literally the one person that actually know. Homeboy doesn't even know that the demon lord he's worshipping probably assign more value to Zephyr than he did to any of his worshippers. (Remember that half the reason Zephyr was allowed to go back was because the demon lord wants a rematch).
Though I still wonder how much the gold dragon knew since he seemed to have a role specifically given by the gods.
