Also also... Did Baku just have a (super short but) normal conversation with deku? And reminded him that deku's supposed to surpass him with no malice?! And then ASKED Kiri to spar instead of just going for it (even tho Kiri did offer)?! BOOOOOIIII he dun grew the fuck up?! It brings a tear to my eye. I'm so happy with the character development the author is choosing to take with him. Instead of the cliche 180° turn in personality, he's actually taking a subtle and gradual progression to his development. I'm so glad the author did not pigeonhole him into being a generic bully type character and also not making him how he originally was planning to. Both would have been boring. I'm rambling here but I really love the approach he's taking with baku's character. It's why I think bakugo is one of, if not the, best characters in the series.
