I tried to give a second chance to the novel after the last manhwa chapter but this story is FAAAAR BETTER experienced in manhwa than the original. The main problem is the book lacks describing the character's emotions which is a huge reason I like this manhwa. I thought the author might gotten better at it in the further chapters but no. They didn't change anything. It still comes out as a book of "plain conversations" and badly handled peak moments.
Especially for the part in chapter 89... Originally the torture part was just skipped and MC just thinks " let's think something else while my brother plays with me." But manhwa did A GREAT JOB making us feel her trauma.
The book was especially disappointing after ML learned about her background. BUT I BELIEVE the manhwa crew going to handle that beautifully.
Gosh, I wish I didn't try going back to the novel at all.
Ngl, I wanted Nora to win (just because he can show off to his asshole family) but I guess he can't get both the girl and the victory ;>
I'm glad most of you now accept this is one of the most overrated romance(??? :'D) books/manhwas. And to the ones who still enjoy the story: You waiting for character development? AHAHAHAHAHA!!!! GIVE UP!
