I shouldn't have read all these spoilers about the novel... I won't be able to see all the situations, and the characters like before.
Knowing what happened to the og Nina, and the true reason behind her death just makes me feel disgusted of the Ml. I despise him, and the other guys too.
I can't accept that they lived a nice life after all they did, and even if he is not the same person in the 2nd timeline I can't love the king AT ALL now that I see how shitty and terrible he is .
┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
I can't like Taesung anymore.
The thing is that they show him as the Ml, as the least bastard dude among all the potential love interest in uke's life.
I mean, the blond guy sexually abused of the uke in his sleep, and his ex hit him.
But it's not because he didn't do that yet that he is any better. I mean, as the Doctor said, he clearly doesn't care if mc is happy, or healthy at all. He just wants him to stay at home and wait for him.
So after a life of abuse, sadness and betrayal, they are going to tell us that this is how the uke is going to be happy ?
Spied, without any liberty, lied by his creepy obsessive lover.
No he deserves to heal of his physical and mental trauma far from this seme who doesn't care at all about it.
Without a big separation (like at least a year) between uke and seme, with uke learning to love himself a bit more, and seme learning that uke is not a doll here for his good pleasure, I won't be able to really love that couple.
If it continues, I will be very sad for the uke to not have had one sane relationship from birth to death. To not have known love and care from someone, a person who doesn't control him, and helps him to be better after all his suffering.
(Only a personal opinion, sorry for my grammar)
I would like to start this story. I've read the first chapters a year ago, but the thing is that I am quite bad at waiting so can I know if :
- The Mc already had revenge against some people (not her sis I know it will be later but at least some douchebags of her first life)
- Has there been an evolution in Mc and Ml relationship ? Like a kiss ? Are they together or not yet ?
If this is not the case I prefer To wait, I'm too impatient to wait week after week (⌒▽⌒)
Like people love Roxanna, but ship her with the guy she hates more than anything, who left a terrible scar by killing her brother, just search the logic.
You're a sadist ? Like you want her to end with her tormentor ? The man who is greatly responsible from all her suffering ?
And this is only my opinion but even without talking about incest, Roxanna and Dion ship is soooo superficial !
People don't even try to understand their true bond, much more interesting that a simple ship, and they just keep shipping them because Dion is handsome, and obsessed with Roxanna. But obsession is not always associated to love you know ? And like you keep 2 scenes in mind, but Forget the 10 others when Roxanna clearly says how much she hates Dion ?
Their whole relation is captivating, full of hatred and obsession, but there is not 1% of love.
Furthermore shipping them, it's like throwing Roxanna's character in the trash ! Like we love her because she is a queen, strong, beautiful, smart and cold, not an angelic empty female lead. And you say that you imagine that our Roxanna would FORGIVE and even being in a RELATIONSHIP with her brother's murderer.
Loooool. If you want a weak female lead who forgive and love the same dude who made her miserable, search other stories, there are a lot, but dont reduce Roxanna to this.
Only a personal opinion, I don't understand why you ship them, but everyone is free to have the ship they want, even if I don't agree ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I personally ship Roxanna with ML, cause, I have s soft spot for villaines x hero.
Buuuuuuuuuuut, as someone who also ships love/hate relationships I understand the appeal, often people don't just ship it because they want a lovely, hearts, flowers and butterflies type of relationship, is the adrenaline and the feeling of danger, most of those ships are sexual and painful, it tends to have a strong sexual tension, which, they kind of have?
Plus, the stronger appeal of those love/hate relationships is that both characters tend to be just as strong, when one of the characters is meek and week it becomes a one side abusive type of relationship, so the fact that Roxanna is a strong type of character is part of the appeal of the people who ships them.
The whole "they killed someone I love but.... I still have these feelings" is not uncommon, the more complicated, the more twisted, the more interesting it becomes.
When Mc thought that she hoped "he may not be a bad guy" I thought like "Seriously ?"
I mean of course the guy is not exactly the same that in the novel, but the only info she has about him is that he was originally a tyrant, who not only destroyed countries, but also forced the og princess to marry him after killing her family ?
And that he had sex with her knowing that he had killed her parents, and that she was probably broken to have sex with the man who killed all the people she loved ? She probably did that hating herself, just to live, she was forced to do it, to me, it's no different from rape, and I would say it's even worse, since she HAS to accept to be called empress, to be touch by this man, it's like psychological torture.
And the king just did what he wanted, without considering her feelings, he is the worse.
So you're telling me that after reading that, you can "think that he is not such a bad guy" ?Perhaps they will try to make us love this ml since he is not exactly the same and all, but for me it will be extremely hard. He clearly seems like the obssessive type, who takes all he wants without questioning himself, and I can't accept that.
I'm going To wait a bit for a définitive opinion about him, but now I don't like him, and if he says like that and the Mc falls in love with him like a cliché, I will be very disappointed.
It's the choice of every author who draws a rape scene to make it have more or less importance in the story, so I would not judge that.
BUT I'm still feeling quite conflicted when we see this scene with uke getting drugged and raped and two chapters later he has sex with seme.
Even if you don't want to focuse the plot in this rape part, this is quite unrealistic in my opinion. I can't really imagine to not mention AT ALL the consequences of this agression in the uke's mind. I mean he was raped, this is not a common act, it destroys people, and can make them scared of sex, or a lot of other reactions, but this is a trauma.
After, not all the story are made to be realistic, and I still like this story, and understand that this rape was just the way to make the relations between the 2 ml grows, but inside, I stay a bit conflicted to use rape for that.
it's just a personal opinion ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Don't understand why so many people are chocked and angry at Dylan's action.
Like you didn't see that coming ?
You seem to forget the beginning of Charlize and Dylan relation.
She never said "You can only choose between Indifference and Love, or indiffeence and obedience".
No, after analysing Dylan she said to him "You can only choose between indifference and OBSESSION, I want you to choose obsession".
The fact that Charlize said that showed how the interest of Dylan into her person would be too strong, and definetely in the excessiveness.
I find that logical when seeing his character that he would do anything to keep seeing his godess. And how can he keep his godess alive ? By making the object of her revenge in an eternal form, as a sword.
You may not like it, but imo, this is perfectly coherent of Dylan to do that.
Ready to do everything that Charlize wants since he worships her, but at the exception of doing something that could make her, the source of his only obsession in life, die.
(Only an opinion, sorry for my grammar)
I agree. Saw this coming, no new news. I do wonder how much more psycho he's gonna go tho. . . . .
I think it makes sense people are mad tho? Charlize just wanted to kill the man that cause her and others so much suffering. She didn't even want to make him suffer a worse death or anything. All she wanted was for him to die and I don't think she would have ran away if Dylan hadn't made him eat the fragment. She would have either tried to get ride of the mages who were experimenting or stayed by his side like she had promise. So Dylan just made things more complicated for not reason?
I agree, but it's not like Dylan knew that it could be a trigger for her. To him it was simply the perfect solution, and she even said it herself, he was raised "too well."
