I hate that the r*pe is taken as a joke and never really adressed in the story
Uke is a pure black flag and a predator
- he planned everything like the hour to be sure he wouldn't be caught
- he abused someone using his position as a doctor to do what he wanted
- he r*ped an unconscious person, he basically used a body to satisfy himself, it's horrible
- He felt absolutely 0 remorse about it, he did it 10 times then let the confused seme go like it was nothing
I know that it's not a story to be taken too seriously, the r*pe is used to make seme and uke have sex but it's such a sh*tty begining, are we supposed to forget that uke did that after ?
I can't even hate the seme who also r*pe the uke (which is also taken as a joke by the author) because I have no empathy for uke at all
I just know that I won't be able to like uke at all no matter what sad past he has or what bad things happen to him, I won't be able to like this character and it's annoying because the story could have been good if not for these first chapters but it just killed the vibe for me

I hate when they create a 3rd ass*ole character to bring the 2 main characters together.
It's lazy-writing, so much easier to do that as an attempt to make us forget all the ml's shitty actions instead of have them communicate and Ml aknowledge his wrongs, but no, the author didn't want to give a tiny bit of character's evolution it seems
I much prefer they create ONE story that is full of twisted and horrible things and they keep getting us other great stories like 'at the end of the road', instead of doing like 'Love Shuttle' author and adding incest and r*pe to ruin ALL their stories

Actually the main story in 'Love Shuttle' stays great, I love the couple
It's the side stories about mc's big brother that sucks, they added incest and r*pe, I was really disappointed by the change of tone compared to the main story but this author just CAN'T seem to be able to create a wholesome story without these elements, they just had to ruin the side stories somehow
So you can read the main story without problem if you want it's really great, just don't read the side story if you don't like elements like 'r*pe' or 'incest' in a story

The popular scary guy x the kind innocent guy, it's such a common BL trope but what makes this story really singular to me is that it subverts this trope by showing what happens if the kind guy DOESN'T fall in love with the popular impulsive guy
Han Taesan is scared of Han Junwoo, he doesn't feel any love for him and it highlights even more the abuse he is going through since he has no feelings at all for Han Junwoo
It really looks like the usual toxic bl trope but it's what it is in the real world which is just an absolutely one-sided toxic love and a poor guy who got noticed and lives a real hell
It's realistic in that way, not everything gets better because the timid guy finally falls for the bad guy, this poor boy is just getting traumatized here and it's what would most probably happen in real life, even Han Junwoo's "considerate" actions only appear as creepy and too persistent here because they are and Han Taesan absolutely hates it
I heard that Taesan will get married to a woman later on, not sure if its true but if it is then that just confirms what you wrote about the plot not being the typical toxic BL, but one more realistic. The guy who suffers from a trash's one sided abusive love in the end didnt turn gay all of a sudden and didnt come to like the bully, but moved on with his life and married a girl he liked. I really like this idea ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

It really shows how different your lifes can be at the same age. Around Byul age, Hyesung had to drop out from school and run away because of his abusive father. He then ended up getting pregnant early and it created a lot of doubts for him. His story with Dojin was difficult, they began really wrong and it took a lot of time to figure their feelings and accept the other
Compared to that Byul's story is much lighter and sweeter because he has protective parents and grew up in a healthy environment. So his romance arc is also slower, it's a regular middle schooler romance that needs time to be built since there is no drama, r*pe and trauma as there was for Hyesung.
The fact that such a story exists show that Hyesung and Dojin succeeded as parents, and it warms my heart to see their son just enjoying his life in school (while slowly falling in love) which is something Hyesung couldn't do at that age
It's difficult not to see this as alpha hyesung's story with the way you say it......hyesung giving the life he want to his mini version
Therell be infact... A rape scene.. or atleast an attempt rape scenee.... Mark my words

And honestly, for all that he was criticized on his own story with many saying how he’d never be a good mother, this story just goes to show that he was actually capable of maturing and providing Byul with the best care he could give (specially considering how he himself never received half as much care from either of his parents)

The Mc seems less and mess capable of taking decisions, Ml is toxic, I'm kind of waiting the moment the 2nd Ml is going to turn toxic too and assault the mc
I really hope I'm wrong though, I hated Legs that won't walk, especially because the first chapters were so engaging before it all went really dark, if there is a 2nd Ml in this story I hope he won't be another crazy guy because we already have one

That guy values his relationship with MC way too much, can’t see him hurting him, even if it comes to unrequired love. He seems way to mature to act upon these feelings (if they exist in such way), risking their so far relationship.
Well we all have our own perceptions as readers, it may be clear for you but it is not for me.
I've read the author's note and I do hope that he will stay harmless but I'm still wary to not be too disappointed if it goes in a bad direction, only the author knows what they will do with their characters at the end, it all depends on what they want to show about the character
