There's still one plot hole that maybe make this shitty seme behavior like this. Yep it's his past with his family. When he got called from his mother he got panic attack,when he remembers about his past(dark past) suddenly he switched into rape mode.(when at inn and when he first got his handcast)
To be honest even the past will be very dark i will not take a pity on him or justify what he did it's right.
