It's a bit stupid on his part, but it's to ruin his own reputation, so that his brother can be the clan heir.
Even with his Qi blockage, MC is still a genius, so some people may want to put him in leadership. They will make sure he married and got children to pass down the "genius", and then have the council of elders control through a puppet leader.
MC want his brother to be the clan leader, so that's why he did all those, and plan to live a lazy life till he die. But now that someone actually tried to assassinate him, it's no longer a viable plan.

I'm at chapter 4 and??? is this crown prince stupid??! HE broke up with her first and now HE is all worried about her and wanting her to stay?? is this some kinda of stupidity on some new level? i mean i know they are basically the whole life together but for someone who didn't bat an eye to break up I didn't think he had any feelings for her, i didn't even start and I'm already pissed
aaaaaaaah i really like this one i was postponing it for so long, i finish it in like 3 days i guess? really nice i love the plot and how i didn't get bored one moment, i love how is not entirely focused on romance it's just so good urg, and i mean I'm liking she has a new brother, dive is so cute but omg i want to see her with ravi, ludville her dad and aisnla(idk how to write) i just want to see her with her family again
omg omg i took way to long to start reading this one and it's incredible, i love seeing luci/estelle development of her prejudice against lady's and seeing her wrongdoings in her life as estelle, she was just following her own heart but in the meantime she hurt those around her, i mean it's sad that she fight for the wrong person but can u blame her? not only she was gift with what most people would never dare dream of her friends never told her anything, I can't blame her in this situation, sure she is stubborn and said a lot of things that you shouldn't like "if the person lies to me i will go away" that's kinda dumb but that's who she is and she sees now that it was stupid of her, is just one really nice development i really like her.
but oh her relationship with zed is just so painful to see, he loves her so much and holds her so dearly that I can't even think he's wrong, she has way too many """selfish""" decisions and my boy is already doing so much, he's too good he's waiting for her to say anything and stays in completely darkness but still respects her, he took too much and is hurt, i love love them i truly do i just wish she would told him the truth, she did have a lot of opportunities to do so and never used them.
i also love that in these kinda of story's the fl is always in love with the other guy (in this case khalid) and she was not!! is just so refreshing seeing it and i hope she's not entirely trusting this man or i will get really pissed, she's smart so i think she's only using him (i hope so)
anyway it's a wonderful read i never got bored or anything and i totally recommend it zeb best boy i would give my life for u
