Quick review
Too fast paced, certain scenes are just skipped over n not developed, MC is weak with strong underlings. No character development at all.
The MC is weak to the point where he's a literal wallpaper during fights. I get that he is a cook, but shouldn't he feel the urge to at least train a bit endurance, or learn how to use a sword???
All he can do is stand there to get stabbed while the seal has to turn back every 3 seconds to block an attack for him
Even the time where he decided to scare off the mercenaries, it was so out of the blue and our of character, afterwards it wasn't even developed properly. He just turned back to his oldself saying ohh I wanted to protect you once
Characters are introduced for 3 chapters then they disappear. None of them were developed and you never really relate to them or feel closer. Even the elf, I still barely know any information about him even tho he was introduced to the party a few chapters in.
Fights are really fast paced and the pacing doesn't makes the deaths of characters sad. It's simply 3 panels. [Gets killed, someone lunges out crying, and "Noooo (name)". I feel absolutely no sympathy for it.]
Why is the orb a bad thing? Why was the little dragon so scared?
Bad if it's in the wrong hand, they can cause a great disaster if they get it's power.
Because it can create a dragon lord, all dragons can be more coordinated. This can cause issues since dragons by themselves were already dangerous but having multiple is a world threat. That is probably the reason as why the dragons lost the war. Their ego's to not work together made them lose.
And Rurin, the little dragon, the reason she was scared/traumatized is what we have read and seen what I assume is that her kin had killed her mother for the orb which may be the real reason as to why she is cold towards other dragons, and seeing that orb resurface her past memories.
I think her mother was dragon lord
And she remembered how her mother died that's why she was scared
