I know thats why Im glad, even if its just in a fictional story, that there are people who dont single out gay people or treat them like a freak of nature.
I think those types of whispering are prevalent in Asian countries, especially countries with Save Face Culture. Like in Japan, parents disown their kids, for a number of reason, including being gay -_-. And here in the Philippines, I've read a story wherein two girls are forced to break up because they've been found out by their parents.
