I've avoided reading this for ages because I kept seeing people talking about how traumatizing it is but I don't think its any worse than Obey Me (personally think Obey Me was much worse) and honestly has kind of a cliche Stockholm syndrome plot. I still enjoyed it but don't think it lives up to the reputation.
He thought sangwoo was different person. He literally said 'thats not the sangwoo I know' as he was being tortured and tried to escape and continued planning how to get away. Then he slowly fell back in love with him. I'm pretty sure that falls in line with Stockholm syndrome but I'm also not a psychologist so what do I know.
Actually in the warehouse the uke did hold affection for the seme before in high school and it eventually got re-awakened when he found out who the seme was....so maybe this syndrome has a spectrum but I’d like to believe maybe in Boom’s case it may not have been Stockholm syndrome at first....but maybe after it was
I mean it is defined as a victim falling in love with their kidnapper
And in their case it’s what happened
