Yeah, 100%agree. Though it could be because they are in the public eye all the time. Royals hold political power, so that's more like a job they're born into. It's easier to think of Royal families as a company or a government cabinet rather than an actual family. Not that they're not, but I wager they're not as close as a regular family because of their positions and how that can evetually play out politically.
We don't have many Royal families that hold political powers these days, but They still have a whole professional team to manage them and advise them of what they can and can't do, because it is "unbecoming" of a royal.
