y'all asking "WHERE IS THE MOM!?" i think the reason why the author didn't include the mom for whole chapter is because we do not need her(the plot doesn't really need her) just like from hunter x hunter (or any other anime/manga etc.) like the only reason they exist is because to give birth to our mc
you could say that, but it just comes over unnatural how one parent is completely absent without reason when they were introduced at the start - like sure it's not uncommon parents or one parent is less present in a story, but you see them here and there and you'd at least expect her to appear to comfort her son or be by her husbands side - and if it's completely unnecessary for her to exist, you'd think you'd get a mention of her leaving or passing away, which could even be used as something to deal with for the mc. Or even just quickly mentioning 'ah yes, she died not long after she gave birth to you' would be enough like no need to dwell on it for the plot since he wouldn't remember her and it wouldn't cause much change to his lifestyle or the story
yup that's why im kinda hoping she could have much screentime in the story since a mother role/love is important from the family/child and i think she would be an interesting character
