i like the storytelling of this. it feels as if the story is being told in a way that we feel the same as sooyoung-- curious and wanting to unravel the truth but gives in to or would rather indulge in the lovey dovey (most of the time) "rough tough seggs" moments. from the get go we cant expect taesung to be a saint, the plot literally is about the mafia and gangs... but just as sooyoung mentions, we (atleast i) momentarily forget how sinister taesung's background is because we see him capable of acting like a puppy in love. so yeah. taesung is trash but that's already a given so i guess i'll just have to wait for the unraveling of how sooyoung takes all that dark side in in exchange for whatever happiness or affection he has building up for taesung.

honestly i still feel iffy with soojin bc he can give off strong obsessive vibes but overall im so happy that they talk about most of the things that involves their relationship. dongwoo is really admirable and brave and i truly wish him the best so i hope his father don't put too much of a strain on their relationship

yahwi is not the bestest, and he's done awful things. but geez i hope he'd put his feelings and thoughts to words and let jooin decide once and for all. wishing jooin finds his happiness, whatever that might look like and whoever it might be with (probs yahwi if we're being honest based on the general plot of the story but yeah let's wonder)
the way the story tackled the issues that were relevant to the abo universe and showed how fate is really just something you can choose to take on or not-- this was really well done. i've always thought how sad destiny/fate in love and attraction can be especially when it's something that you feel obligated to do. i'm glad this manga showed us how love transcends fate and instinct because in the end, we love because we choose to and we stay in love because we choose to fight for that person or feeling every day. taiga and rin's story just breaks my heart but i'm glad they're working through it together. i know it's a make believe universe but i truly wish they spend their days happily from then on~
It's realistic take on the omegaverse universe is mind-blowing!
truly~ most abo pieces just makes use of the concept to push forth more sex scenes that are rougher and more intense with the help of instinct and pheromone-induced situations. that's clearly not all so bad bc in the end i think that's the point of the abo universe (to include the babies we get out of it) but sometimes it's frustrating how most abo stories disregard the issues that exists in said universe when it's such a good opportunity to deepen the story and even the characters. so this was lovely to read. definitely one of the great abo stories out there
Kaoru's speech to his alpha colleagues was award-winning! This is the moral that should be conveyed in the omegaverse world, that there's a reason why the alphas are strong.
right~ since the alphas are born with superior genetics and are exposed to greater opportunities, that would also give them the responsibility to make things better for everyone. it's nice to have a character who truly saw the importance to that and stood by it. kaoru's character definitely developed well throughout this series.
And Taiga's apology to Rin when he realized what his behaviour might've put Run through. His regrets and his attempt at remedy were definitely a huge development.
