So Elle is saying that his mother (the one who gave birth to him) killed his birth mother (the one who is actually his stepmom the ex-fiance), he's saying that his mom wasn't really his real mom but his stepmother and hates his dad for it

I think he said: "I grew up thinking that the woman who killed my birth mother was my real mother." So he is angry that he was deceived. He grew up thinking that the brunette was his real mother, and he knows now the brunette murdered our pink-haired heroine. It would be clearer said "The woman I grew up thinking was my real mother in fact, murdered my birth mother!"

no she not... the hell? She just goofy. She's one of the most down-to-earth characters. She is literally living her life without worrying so much about the book unlike the other mcs. If you want an extremely serious mc, there are plenty. In the recent chapters, she hasn't even been goofy for the past 5 chapters.

Yes. Most authors would think like that. They develop their characters as they age just like a human being. And also so that readers would be able to see their development. I think I like that.
