I don't think Jiho and Inwoo will break it off. Inwoo is so dependent on Jiho, even when he's ignored his past trauma he still stands next to him. He sees him as his sun, a beacon of light amidst the darkness that he's come to know woth his writer's block and his condition.
Jiho is (kind of?) indifferent to this infatuation? Not all of it, but I don't think he's caught wind of the immense role he plays in Inwoo's life YET, which is why he keeps on reconnecting him with his mother without much thought.
Even in this chapter where Inwoo points out just how desperate for Jiho, we don't see Jiho thinking about it, only thinking of what he's let out to others.
