i think if everyone stop viewing it as 3 continuous story and look at as 3 different story.. you could follow the story better in my opinion. Barely any omegaverse are fluffy and some have a rather dramatic scenario which I think this is.. this could b explained way better but not enough to lower the rating I still like it,
