children who suffered from mental illness and or trauma might seem like they're mature for their age when in reality they're not or at least, they're not supposed to be, especially at an age where they're still expected to be developing. it's the opposite for the twins. there are times where they act like total children when they are, as you have all said, 25 years old and is technically already considered an adult.
while this may not be the whole truth for them being upset about what the rosea boy said and other things you all think they could have been more mature about, what is there to be upset about, really? yall r upset they seeemed to trust the rosea boy too much? wasn't it bcs they only want to be hopeful even though their situation basically forbids it? they were told that they were unimportant because they weren't purebloods and they got upset over that? very understandable. they were suddenly brought to a world they don't know and the people that they could have leaned on for support was an alcoholic and abusive mother and a father that thought they were insignificant bcs they were only a product of a one night stand to him. if i didn't know better, i'd say y'all are gaslighting the twins.
