This is really selfish of Sovieshou. He may have lost his memories of the time he hurt Navier, but he was aware of what he did from reading his diary(?) and from what he heard from other people. The best thing he can do right now is to not bother Navier, and remember that he is the only one with missing memories, but Navier still remembers the pain and abandonment she experienced due to his actions.
I understand that everything is so confusing to him right now, especially when his memories are from when he was still the crown prince with his happy moments with Navier, but then when he woke up he found out that he lost his memories, that he is now the Emperor, and also lost Navier. He should start reflecting from his past actions, and realize that losing his memories does not equal to erasing the pain he caused Navier.
You see, I'm actually fine with the time skip. I dont think I can handle seeing little Mo suffering and waiting for He Tian. And ofcourse also me, I dont think I can handle waiting knowing this updates take too damn long.
Oh well, but I like the style of the artist. They showed us glimpse of the future before focusing on the main story. Atleast they dont intend to make us suffer that much because of the assurance we have of them meeting again in the future.
