Oh i was actually talking about how manga authors dismisses rape and assault and how it’s been normalized throughout the history of yaoi and they don’t even put effort into going against that direction, but I’m not saying it’s different from korean manhwas where rape is also prevalent, the way i see it japanese authors are bad at portraying rape and assault as something that is absolutely irredeemable, for instance most semes/ml in yaoi force their way into our mcs with dramas that lead to rape, SA which is something uncalled for and somehow will always end up being the endgame. Even other characters who does this attempt to mcs even develop friendship and forgiven as if their actions werent bad. This isn’t even the case with Korean comics where if it’s rape, it’s rape.
