Things I hate as a Yaoi/BL reader:
KR manhwa: The updates are somewhat fast and weekly (bc of how easy kr language to learn) but when every season ends or in hiatus, we have to wait for months for the next season updates.
Jp manga: Slow and takes months to release a single chapter. (I understand, probably because of how hard translating the japanese language but yknow )
Japanese is only slightly harder to learn than korean. But anyway, I think manhwa artists need to take a long break between seasons because of how tedious it is to release a chapter every week. I saw an artist where they showed the process of drawing a single chapter which takes almost/entire week to finish so it's understandable for them to have a long break after finishing a season.
