Not really a secret, we saw in the flashback chapter that Hinata named the big crow Midori for its green eye colour. It was never his real name.
He might not be important at all, it's gonna be the usual "you actually hates humans so why did you marry one and act like you never hated them?" kinda thing, that's all. At least that's my number 1 bet for the plot right now. XD
Or maybe he has a good reason to hate them...that could be interesting.
