okay i only have summaries for ch 42&43, but they’re more important since ch 41 was just a flashback from their childhood

chapter 42

While Yahwi was seeking Jooin out, he saw him decline his call on the street. Mr. Na (the man from the first chapters who Yahwi's supposed to work for/with after he graduates) met up with Jooin, then they left together in a car in front of Yahwi.

Later, Yahwi was waiting for Jooin in front of his apartment, but Jooin kept ignoring him. Yahwi grabbed his arm and said they need to talk, but Jooin didn't want to do that and said: "Weren't we supposed to stop talking?" Yahwi eventually got fed up and called Jooin easy, saying that it's very easy for him to switch it up (as in go for somebody else), and when Jooin asked him what he meant, Yahwi basically said that he didn't know why he was talking about this with someone that couldn't remember anything (their past most probably.)

When Jooin tried to leave again, Yahwi stopped him once more. He asked him if he was really going to act like things between them are over, and Jooin said that he started having feelings on his own and he'd put an end to them. Yahwi was frustrated that Jooin said his feelings were over and told him that he was doing everything (Jooin) wanted and he didn't understand why he was being like this, but Jooin bit back, saying: "You don't know what I want."

Yahwi flashed back on their last conversation, put two and two together and confessed, saying that he likes Jooin. The chapter ended here.

chapter 43

Jooin is narrating about Yahwi's lack of expression while he confessed and how he doesn't believe that Yahwi loves him because there was no sparkle in his eyes. Jooin said that he didn't mean to stop what they had, but he was sad and angry and had to calm himself down. Even so, he thinks that he and Yahwi have taken this too far. Yahwi is still frustrated and desperately tries to win Jooin back, saying things like: "I've told you I like you, what's wrong now? Isn't this what you wanted? I can treat you better than anyone else you met. You're the only one I could say this to (?). You want me and you like me, isn't it enough?" Jooin says that it'd never be enough for him and that Yahwi still doesn't know anything. He said that he wanted to ignore his hurting, but then Cain comes out of the apartment complex and their conversation ends. He asks Jooin what he's doing and he says that nothing at all, then Cain invites him in, saying that he waited for him bc he was hungry. They both leave. Jooin told Cain that he's embarrassed and ashamed (?) that Cain had to hear that convo (bc yes Cain was eavesdropping on them). Jooin is angry and believes he's being pathetic rn and starts crying.

There's a flashback between Cain&Jooin from the day Jooin and Yahwi broke this off (anyways) and then the ch ends.

So jooin and yahwi broke up in ch 43 right?

they broke things off in ch 39 technically...but this was a continuation of that, so yes. officially, they split up in ch 43 :)
