Why is every seme a hoe and every uke a virgin!? Poor innocent ukes are gonna get STDs, sad. Also seungho has been with a ton of guys, it makes no sense that he would be obsessed with someone as bland as nakyum.

UH bruh it’s cause he’s intrigued by nakyum he was just in it for the paintings but after he started getting intrigued by him and then later on was more possessive and started changing since he started developing a romantic affection. u just gotta think abt it dude every guy the semes hooked up with is just whatever to him he doesn’t care.

WHAT is so intriguing about nakyum though? Dude has the personality of wet toast and hasn’t said or done anything in 57 chapters. What makes him different from any random guy other than the author choosing him to be the main character? Don’t get me wrong, this story is incredible but I hate the romance and don’t find it makes any sort of sense

my thoughts exactly ^^^. i'm just waiting for the chapter when his origins will surface (if they surface). cause orphans don't always end up as orphans in these types of stories. he's gotta be some kind of noble or something. like, no wet toast pls. put it in the toaster and add egg and cheese at least

LITERALLY MY THOUGHTS Seungho literally had enough sexual relations with other people to last his lifetime and you're telling me he's suddenly falling in love with that boring ass nakyum just like that? Seungho and jihwa got more chemistry if already, and they are both fucked up. So it wouldn't really bother me if Seungho ends up with him which I don't even think would happen but anyways I just want nakyum to get out of that whore house

What makes NK special is his unconditional love for his teacher.
SH wants to be loved in the same way. If you've read the latest chapter, it should be obvious that SH had a terrible childhood. The only ones that - we know so far - have shown some care for SH is his brother, Jihwa and the servant who has been by his side all this time. However, none of these men can be a potential love interest for SH.
SH cannot be with his brother for obvious reasons. He cannot be with the servant, as he is much older than him, probably straight/married and as well as afraid of SH due to the master/servant relationship. Jihwa claims he loves SH, but his love is toxic, selfish and immature, and to someone who has been hurt so much in the past, they don't need a toxic lover to hurt them even more. This is where NK stands out.
Firstly, NK is a beauty, which is probably what got SH intrigued in the first place, after he met him. Secondly, NK would always speak his mind first, even though he is not a noble, which shows that NK doesn't care about SH's fame or wealth. He cares about people who are smart and kind, i.e. NK prioritises personal values over materialistic. Thirdly, SH finds out that NK is in love with the teacher, but finds out that NK's feelings are strong and pure unlike Jihwa's. The night when he sleeps with NK for the first time is the game changer for SH. He had a taste of NK's love and after that he cannot get enough of it. He's never been loved or respected before like NK loves and respects his teacher. Everyone needs love and care, and SH has lived for so long without it, that he doesn't even know what he is feeling, what he needs and how to react to it.

Yes, Nakyum is precious <3 But Seungho has potential to improve as a person. He wasn't born as a bad person, but became it after his father's cruel treatment. Psychologists didn't exist at the time, so treating mental helath issues was much more difficult back then. Therefore someone as pure as Nakyum is the key to changing Seungho. What I like about this story is that the roles are reversed compared to other mangas/fairytales. It is the Nakyum (poor and powerless) who is the 'prince' that needs to save the 'princess'/Seungho (noble, rich, powerful).
Seungho isn't a ''slut''. I think he is only having sex with other men as revenge against his father, who wanted to change his sexuality. After all in the beginning he struggled to get an erection, because he mentally wasn't interested in sex with random people, hence his body failed him in this way, but he did anyway to rebel against his father. His mind was in a way 'disconnected' from his body (he may have a depression?), but now that he has gained feelings for NK his mind and body are becoming one again. He cannot suppress his min/feelings anymore. Sex, drugs etc was just a means to escape from reality.
I recommend following and reading more interesting and in-depth analysis from this person, who has their own blog http://www.mangago.zone/home/people/489982/home/
