And yes wrong movements & bad characteristics can never be easily forgotten, but azhar is being selfish right now in my opinion cause what she’s doing to the emperor may not harm her but it will harm the whole entire citizens of the empire! I’m not condemning her for doing that cause he deserves it but again the best thing she can do is just leave him and move on live a different life ( like live in a rural mountain area or smtg)

The emperor is too blinded by guilt to the point it interferes his job as a leader. If he let his emotions getting swayed everytime people mention azhar everyone in the nobility will eventually betrayed him and dethroned him for being a tyrant emperor.
