I have to say that this is one of the yaoi tropes I hate the most. When an uke gets kidnapped and/or nearly raped and/or something else equally terrible and then the seme comes and saves the day and the perpetrator run off and it is never mentioned again. I mean, the steamy sex after the close call is great and all, but it's terribly hard to concentrate on it when you know the perpetrator just got off scot free despite their terrible actions. It's obvious that the perpetrator's actions were just a plot device to bring the MCs closer together and the author doesn't really care about things other then that. It just feels like bad writing. This is definitely one of the worst examples I've seen for it.
