okAY SO I REREAD CHAPTER 40 LAST PANELS AND IT WAS ACTUALLY PROFESSOR WHO MENTIONED THAT THE KID'S NAME WAS YUNJAE-

("YUNJAE, SO HIS NAME IS YUNJAE." -LITTLE PROFESSOR)

SO ITS EITHER CANDY'S REAL NAME IS RLLY YUNJAE OR LITTLE PROFESSOR MIGHT'VE HEARD IT DIFFERENT. (could also be the translation cuz when the mom calls the child, they could've mentioned their name in the original but is changed to "you" or sumn)

THEN ASSUMED THAT THE CRYING LITTLE YUNJAE (Candy) CAME BACK TO THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD BUT HAS NOW WAVY HAIR (blonde Yunjae we know) (then accident blablabla)

OR HE ALREADY KNOWS THAT LITTLE CANDY AND LITTLE (yet) BLONDE YUNJAE ARE DIFF PEOPLE, MAYBE BLONDE YUNJAE CAME IN A BIT LATER AFTER CANDY AND HIS MOM MOVED OUT
