Jaekyung got a shitty past, but that doesn't validate his actions toward Kim Dan and everyone else. It did gave us a better understanding of his character and how he came to be, and Im glad the author is showing how self aware and remorseful he is towards Dan. I hope that guilt eats him up painfully, and motivate him to become a better person. (a long redemption arc please, make him suffer)
I also hope they can give Kim Dan an enlightenment—realizing that not everything is his fault, and that he can still blame Jaekyung for all the awful things he did to him. I hope Dan can also have a stronger and more stable mental fortitude. Please have confidence, and believe in yourself.
