Thanks so much for your big heart! I’ve been reading this series since I was 19. I’m 38 now.

Looking at the chapter release dates, the last chapter of the official story was uploaded in August 2024. That means the final Chapter was uploaded more than a year ago. I somehow missed that update. Then after reading the chapter, I realizing it’s the last chapter, my mind just about exploded.

Yeah, I watched the anime and didn’t even realize that was the end. If you haven’t tried the author’s other series, Junjou Romantica, I totally recommend it.
Junjo Romantica was the authors second series. It takes place in the same world as this series. (This series was her third series) It even has cameos of the characters from this series. In fact, some of the characters from this series have larger parts in Junjou Romantica than just cameos. The ML of Junjou Romantica is a best selling novelist at Marukawa Publishing.

But I’m going to recommend you start with the anime. Let’s just say the author was still learning for chapter 1. But in the anime, it’s done fabulously. In the manga, that chapter was so dark (As in visually. There was so much shading.) It was also just so cluttered. The pacing was also kind of wonky compared to the anime. But in the anime, it flows naturally. The art is vivid. It doesn’t have that weird current art style the author’s using now.

(The author’s first work was shonen ai. It involved samurai, and was a historical genre. I’ve never read it.)

In a way yesss, it was a past life situation. in the past Ido treated Sejin like shit, Sejin eventually killed himself. And then for whatever reason they were given a 2nd chance in life. Ido in the new life tried to make everything right, however because the 2 bonded in this life too their memories exchanged in a way that they could see each other's past. So as the bond was formed Sejin remembered how poorly Ido treated him and decided to leave. That's pretty much it, but feel free to correct me if I got sg wrong. Hope I was able to help tho
