More than seme being as*hole the uke is a fcking loser

The author was Seriously sick in mind and loved making senseless tragedy
made this for so many years with this shifty ending
My only favorite character was kaname and he never got his happy ending but everyone else got it

I think the only good part of stroy was academy arc that was made into anime

I really like this adaptation much better than novel
And I hope they change the novel ending and pacing
In novel practically all side characters are constantly dying and in the end the word is destroyed except only 200 people so he just reincarnate infinitely to reach the happy ending that he wants.

I have read countless Webtoons and mangas for past 20 years and all kinds of tragedies
But this one was one of TOP 3 saddest ending after Ai no kusabi(which made me cry for a week)
Just something about this just kinda hurt
The ending is too futile and lonely

I read an spoiler and this is freaking crazy
For the love of God it's so much melodramatic
Season 1 is vol1 of novel and there is 8 vol in total with as much as stupid story and time skip as possible
I think this genuinely deserve 5 instead of my pretty husband
In end of book 2 he burns the dorm and kill hugh
And supposedly rest if them
But in book 3 and 7 years later he is Mercenary and he gang raped there again
He constantly gets gangraped
George is back to revenge for hugh death with melted face
And lot of shit happens and Simon s the last one to die and another times kid and is with Jerome and in relationship

I have read titles that were much worse than this like Night of blasphemy and others but why is this rating so low and they had much higher rating
When i was reading this i kinda remembered viewfinder manga with asami being the best possible seme in my time it was the most popular title in this site and first yaoi that i read and my favorite for afew years so I think this one rating needs to be at least 6 or 7
Even though the general trend has changed

I usually read only high ratings unless the art is good but this story is pretty good not amazing but it's at least a 9.1 why is the ratings so low

Their relationship only gets more toxic and for a looooooong time, Ginas only escapes Melinoux around chapter 240
Ginas becomes frailer/sickly with the implication it was Melinoux's doing, though I don't know if it's from actual poison or just a result of the abuse she inflicts on him. One review called him a scarecrow emperor?
Ginas and Enoch manage to repair their relationship/talk/be sincere with each other. Enoch assigns the male knight Harlan/Harlen? to watch over his brother, who then swears loyalty/fealty to Ginas properly.
At some point after this Ginas runs away with the help of Harlan (a couple reviewers really did mention they have romantic undertones)
Harlan gets into a swordfight against Melinoux, protecting Ginas. Apparently the knight is instrumental in saving Ginas (from Melinoux) in the same way Juliet saved Enoch (from himself).
At the end, Melinoux truly embodies the role reversal of "regretful asshole duke of the north" completely and Does feel some regret. She realises that while at the start she thought of Ginas as a possession/plaything she did genuinely want to be loved by him.
Whatever remorse she might show however, Ginas does not forgive her and rejects her completely. Unclear if they simply break up or if she gets a harsher punishment? But regardless they separate/divorce, and after the annulment Melinoux is demoted from a Duchess to a Marquess.
Ginas abdicates the throne that's caused him nothing but grief, and instead appoints Rinirite (the secret daughter of Iliad, subject of the current chapters of the manhwa) as Empress. He then settles into a peaceful ending, recovering, with his knight and Enoch's family by his side.
And apparently Rinirite as empress, develops an obsession for Melinoux. (out of left field age gap toxic yuri?!??!?!??!) In atonement/remorse/love Melinoux stays by Rinirite's side to ensure she doesn't kill Ginas (seems that kid inherited some tyrant craziness from her mom/grandpa after all). Reviewer thought it was fitting karma for Melinoux to essentially be trapped in the same way she trapped Ginas.
Ginas and Harlan have some focus in the side stories along with Juliet and Enoch, titled "With You Forever" (apparently they're affectionate lol), Rinirite and Melinoux have their own side story titled "Rose in the Snowfield

I have stopped reading both this and EVE just waiting for the end since i can't handle tragedy but angst is good
The Author has already mentioned the one of the two ongoing story will have tragedy ending but I hate him for saying it like that it's just playing with readers emotion

My bet this one will be tragedy cause the little mermaid story had a tragic ending and futility
Or maybe the author wants to do a twist and change the story and backstab everyone and make this happy ending and EVE tragedy

I just hope none of them are tragedy and author changes his mind

Consider the story finished on chapter 45 that's the last chapter with good art
Chapter 50 is the last chapter and in my opinion it was decided that the story would be axed so in last 5 chapter the artist didn't bother on any refinement on art
Just read the novel too bad it was axed I really liked it
