It had been a great 8 years of loving AoT and of course, I will continue loving it. Isayama did a great job on this, and is the best manga I've read so far. Or even, いいえ which is iia, "No." or やだ which is yada, also means No.
They see rejection as seduction, and silence as concent. Like how we say it to someone, "I'll take the silence as a yes?" So, Hence Yuma's words. "Silence means concent."
