In this last chapter I realized that the art is as good as it is because the author uses 3D images and then traces them. I don’t mind as a reader but as an artist I feel a little betrayed
for the backgrounds? i feel like thats valid enough when making a webcomic

I noticed it for the characters is what I mean. The backgrounds are usually not from the artists but the characters themselves are

I don't think it should matter that much. Her art is still amazing even if she's using 3D models as a base, she is clearly a talented artist. And honestly having to draw so many panels each week it makes it easier and faster to develop chapters while her quality of art doesn't drop, which seems to be an issue for a lot of artists as the comic goes on.

I honestly don’t care who is the endgame (personally tho I wouldn’t mind a poly relationship even though it wouldn’t really work out) but I’ve had to admit to myself the gang lore he has with TJ in his past is so much more interesting as a story than when he’s with Jo
A story can be interesting or not but whoever can make Ian feel at peace, is my decision.
After seeing raws, I just want Ian happy.
I think it’s funny how people are attacking those who are saying this is a bad manhwa with bad leads by calling it “realistic” bc it’s just an excuse for the bad writing. Sure their hate might be misguided a little and too directed at the fl but she’s the narrator and the guide we’re following in this story so if the story is bad it’ll naturally be attributed to her narration and choices. The story flow and plot is bad bc of the choices she makes.
Not to mention, nobody is hating on the fl because she’s “not a girlboss/ strong fl”. I’ve seen plenty of well done manhwas where the fl is weak and powerless and needs to rely on others with no backlash, everyone is complaining about this fl because it’s not well done
give me recs where the weak fls are written well I'm curious
If yall haven’t already, I suggest reading the occasional novel sections at the end of the chapters. I originally skipped them bc I’m not a novel reader but they’re sooo good
Their proportions make me laugh I can’t take the art seriously but the story makes up for it

I always get whiplash from the historical outfits and buildings in the manhwa and then whatever the hell the FL or Sena wears Like the short dress and the feather one were so out of place??
I don't think this is supposed to be reflecting any true period of time or place.. just my opinion
