That was extremely fucked up, at the same time, weirdly heartfelt..?
I'm not sympathizing with the child molester, but there were some truths to what Harada was trying to convey about "what is normal?" For someone who experienxed pshchological and physical trauma and instead of sympathy they recieved aggression and hate.

Cant believe I actually caught up.
- Plot wise just endless fcking and trauma
- Idk if it's just me but the art style kind of went whack after awhile. They just look a bit different. They became more triangular and pointy...?
- Character development: ummm. None lmao. They just realized they liked each other but still goes about being toxic with each other

I actually think the art change was done on purpose. The farther these two get into this relationship, the more of themselves they lose.
I imagine that's why Sora is covered in bruises and is losing weight. I also think he's been looking for ways to punish himself, which is why he goes out to meet Sora's friends and gets his ass whipped.
Taiyou has been losing weight for a while- the sharp lines indicate loss of flesh and he goes from being a normal, healthy weight to underweight and angular. Also, he's becoming more feminine. Taiyou even acknowledges this; he says he's lost a lot of muscle mass because of Sora.
This relationship is a prison for the both of them, with Taiyou paying the heaviest price, and neither of them are smart enough to get themselves out of it.
What's absolutely fascinating to me about this manga is that the artist does actually realize how toxic this relationship is and they display it in the most subtle ways.
I do think this manga is a masterpiece, mainly because I teeter-totter between hating it and loving it. I haven't done a deep character analysis of a yaoi manga in a LONG time and these two keep pulling me back.
Yo wtf i want more of this
