Considering how rare it is to have a good story with good plot, great characters, healthy relationship that also has good smut and not instantly jumping to babies is so refreshing! The lack of progress is mainly due to Jaeyi's indecisiveness to take any action/speak about what she knows. Everyone else has no clue, so they're off living their lives normally ie sex, work, etc. It'll depend if the author can pull it off, but this "calm before the storm" can be very effective in story telling. Once shit hits the fan, I expect there won't be much time for anything else except to resolve the matter. Waiting for new chapters doesn't help sit feels like it's been forever for us but only a few hours/days for the characters. Pretty sure the smut during this time will be much more appreciated once the series is concluded/re-read.
