Okay... I agree with you, but, to be completely fair, he's not innocent either. He went to the castle for revenge, and a really awful revenge at that; essentially, "He killed my sister so I'll kill his sister even though he's already dead." He also had no idea of Hestia's involvement with her brother's death at that point, which meant he didn't even care if she was just some innocent girl or not, he just wanted her dead because his sister was dead. Do you realize how terrible that is?
