I'm so confused bro what....??? Is it saying this entire time it's been roleplay and he's always known he agreed to it with a contract or did he have amnesia for some reason???

It’s not! It’s all parallels and symbolism, if you check in frequently while reading you’ll notice when these characters “accidentally” step into the roles they’ve written. In the main characters story, he’s written himself as the person who orchestrated everything, and he frequently states that he believes he has a leash on the ML. But as soon as you switch perspectives, or as soon as the MC has a mental breakdown, you are persistently reminded that he has never been the one in control, and the actual story that they’re following is the MLs story in his part of the reality- melting, hammering, melting again when hardened, melting, and painting over in complete black once the process has been finished. Hence the main character being dressed up in all black and being highly uncomfortable. It’s interesting to note all the spots where he stops resisting the story being set and starts playing into it and the times where his conscience is flaring up. The thesis of the story seems to be whether you can extract something real from fiction, and I guess we’ll get an answer soon in the ensuing chapters!

He should just kill himself in front of him to forever change the trajectory of his life

Basically, Juyeon leaves Jiwook alone when Jiwook is going through suicidal thoughts bc of what he went through. Jiwook listens to the voices when Juyeon isnt around and Juyeon comes home to Jiwook trying to hang himself. Juyeon feels bad and worried so he takes care of Jiwook, Jiwook likes when he gets Juyeon worried so he takes advantage of Juyeon’s kindness. The kindness doesnt last long bc of it But hey Juyeon cared for some time and treated him like a baby

The guy's argument is stupid—his choice being justified by the circumstance does not debunk the fact that one can grow up in abuse and live a horrible life and still choose to be a good person. His choice in that moment was the moral one because of the situation. That's totally different from justifying making immoral decisions because of the way your life went.
