They need a clean break up. He needs to go abroad, move to NY, or join that acting agency to find himself away from Dohu. Dohu prob has a neurological issue (I skipped a lot of chapters and took like a yr break from this, so if it was mentioned already oops!) that makes him not able to read emotions, and should get some medical help with that. And I hate time skips, but I think one would work here. A time skip of like 3 yrs were they both worked on themselves would be beneficial. Dohu could finally get across his sincere apology and juheon could be emotionally and mentally well off to genuinely accept it and hopefully build up his own power/wealth to go against his family. I literally do not see how this can work out without a time skip with personal growth…
You need to go back and read the chapters you skipped. They both have physiological problems MC seems to have APD he not only can't read emotions but doesn't have them for the most part, his original intention was to use ML but he started having feelings for someone for the first time in his life. ML suffers abandonment issues and years of mental and physical abuse.

In some cases, time skips are really useful but I don't think it would be the case here.I don't think Dohu would change even if there was a time skip because it's just the way he is and it wasn't a problem before Juheon found out about the start of the relationship. Juheon is just interpretating something wrongly here, pushing his traumas on Dohu. What's making Juheon upset is that he thinks Dohu was faking interest and planning to let him down once done with him. But that's never been the case. The time skip could have been usefull if Dohu was really trying to take advantage of Juheon, reaching actively to him, faking affection, being someone he was not, lying and stuff but that was not really the case here. At the start, Juheon knew that Dohu was not really proactive in building the relationship and that he had to win him over. He just got along with Juheon and let him follow him around so that he could learn more about him, which he probably wouldn't had done if he wasn't in a writing slump but he didn't fake anything. He was studying Juheon because he found him interesting, sure, as inspiration for a character but it was a genuine interest noneless. And along the way, he started to have affection towards Juheon. If you think about it, every relationship starts this way : you think someone is interesting and that it could do you good to have them around, and then you build the relationship, so you are always searching for something (filling up a void, being understood by someone, having fun, etc.). The only problem here is a big misunderstanding, just resolving it would solve the problem since the relationship was healthy before in my opinion

Edith is put under house arrest and Killian starts to pay attention to her by sitting with her for Lunch. Man's a tsundere my sister in Christ.
Edith picks up making dresses for dolls because she's bored and Anna, her personal maid is starting to like her because Edith treats her like a person rather than as a servant like everybody else does.
Meanwhile Killian's brother goes to the Royal Palace and tattle on Edith to the King saying she leaked the documents when Killian threw a fit in front of his family saying "Why are y'all jumping to conclusions like this? There's no proof Edith actually leaked the info"
There's a craft market held as a charity event and all the noble ladies are making stuff to sell. Reeze, the show off is making a huge embroidery and being all coy like "Oh its not that good". Edith doesn't have much experience in embroidery, so she picks a simple design in a handkerchief for Killian and all the bitchy noble women are like "Oh my teen daughter made something like that when she started" Then Duchess tries to save her by saying "Oh the colour of this clothes is similar to Killian's eyes". In the trade fair, Edith gets cornered by her brother and the asshole assault Edith while she's on the way to the washrooms and threatens her if their plans go wrong, she's gonna be the first on the chopping block. While Edith's taking the washroom break, Killian buys her handkerchief.
After doing the bad investments and loosing money, Edith's family gets impatient that Edith is not asking for maids from their house, so this bitch maid for Rigelhoffs come to Duke's doorstep throwing a strom saying she misses Edith and shit. So Duke let's the bitch in.
Bitch maid is abusing Edith big time. She's starving her, beating her where her clothes cover the bruses, there's verbal abuse, etc. Edith is put back to work with the secretary guy and she's only getting to eat tea snacks as a meal. Secretary guy is getting sus about her unusual appetite. Anna was pushed aside by the bitch and she isolated Edith from everyone.
Then Edith sends Reeze a gift sewing set as an apology. Bitch maid force Edith to poison the sewing kit but Edith doesn't budge. But Reeze gets poisoned by the sewing kit anyways and put on a coma to recover. Then the guards find poison on Edith's room and Edith is put on house arrest again.
Reeze wakes up and sends a cake as a peace offering, but plot twist! It's poisoned. Bitch maid put poison on it and makes the starved Edith eat it. Edith gets severe stomach aches but nobody finds out why she's sick. Also nobody else is worried for Edith except Killian, but bitch maid makes Edith to reject Killian.
Killian suddenly gets angry because bitch maid is blowing off Killian's attempts to have meals with Edith. Killian thinks Edith is doing it on purpose. So he tries to force Edith to sleep with him. Bro is being a massive red flag there, buuuut he discover Edith's bruises when he takes off her clothes. Killian blows up and send bitch maid to jail.

I read spoilers that he was under hypnosis to hate the fl, but did the hypnosis really make him say all that nasty shit ab her behind her back and to her face? I don’t think so. After the letter incident, Edith remembers a special event where og Edith trys to seduce Killian and failing. Edith us like "Well, let's get this over with" and goes to Killian's room. She kiss him on the forehead and try to leave. Killian takes this as her being willing to sleep with him and they do the deed.
Poison cake incident comes after the poison thread incident.
After Killian sleeps with Edith, the 1st condition to loosen author's authority meets the need, which is Edith following the script and changing the course of the story.
The forcing himself on Edith happens because he sees Edith being vulnerable with secretary guy and Killian gets jealous. He sees Edith's bruises and realizes that he was being an asshole.
Then Edith feels bad for seducing Killian, so she trys to stay away from Killian and turning him down 10 times.
I guess the hypnosis was more like manipulation due to being close with Reeze, author's authority over important characters and competition to have Reeze as a prize
