Ohhh I’m so mad rn I let this marinate for OVER A YEAR, stopped at ch 62 bc I read spoilers ab what will happen and I got an instant headache and decided to put this on a digital bookshelf.

I thought 11 chapters later, they’ll be happy right?? Wrong. Tell me why I was fuming when NO ONE pummeled that pos “dad”?? All everyone did was talk and talk and talk about threats, as if he’ll listen with his track record.

Ohhh I was so mad when Wonwon kept meeting up with him, and giving in bc he was embarrassed. It’s not embarrassing to ask for help. He was almost killed and his first thought after regaining consciousness was “I need to TALK with him again” legit said those exact lines.

Now he has unnecessary trauma that haunts him. Great as if he doesn’t have enough issues. I was cheering with mom at the funeral yelling at him for being stupid and not listening to her bc all of his “dads” threats of meeting the mom and seoan as if they’ll let him walk all over them.

Wonwon never had it in him to resolve this on his own without outside help, it was gonna be a cycle of “this will be the last time, “do you want me to meet them”, fine here’s the money, repeat” I admit seoan method was trash, handing the father bags of cash and a contract to never meet his son again was lousy work.

Too bad his plan to catch him at the gambling den was too slow to play out even tho he knew the father frequents it… anyways, I really wish it had gone that way. The blondie in the beginning was damn insufferable. My god 5 chapters in, left and right, he’s disrespectful as shit for someone on the run and needs to stay hidden. He needs to be quiet and sit still if he’s so damn afraid of being caught and not piss off his only hope of survival. First, he wouldn’t stop touching the black hair dude when he said stop, he rummaged through his stuff trying on his earrings when he said not to look around, THEN he kisses him without consent, AND has the audacity to be surprised when he gets mad like… also him admitting to his bs doesn’t make him any more relatable.

So just started the side stories and it’s so shit??? This other Valeta was “tormented and violated” aka raped by the crown prine/king, and wants to die, only to be summoned by a crazy alternate ml who ends up raping her too… and I see some cmts saying she “consented” bc she agreed to the deal that he’ll kill her if she “sleeps” with him. If it’s coerced then it’s rape. And if she said, no, what was he gonna do? Keep her locked up? She wants to die, so ofc she has no choice but to agree to the bs deal.

I don’t know what happens later in the side stories for some of y’all to get frustrated with her, but 1-2 chapters into the sides, she’s a clear victim of a loser.

The chill look on the brothers face sending her to an enemy marriage was all I needed to see that he was fishy. I read all 18 pages of cmts and the spoilers

And what I can conclude is the fl is stupid in the beginning to be so easily influenced by her brother in her 2nd life who she knew killed her when she lingered as a spirit for a DECADE (Gahdayum that sounds like hell)

Ppl defended her saying it’s her brother who she’s know her entire life and can’t just forget it so easily and that she deeply cares ab the ppl in her country so she’s willing to be his loser if it meant protecting the ppl.

And I totally understand her fear of the ml, she witnessed him killing her younger brother and father, and that’s not easy to forget. Hell, I’m surprised romance even occurred bc I could not love my family’s killer, no matter their reason or cause.

From the spoilers, fl should’ve feared both her brother and ml, yet in the beginning at least, she’s the willing fool to her brothers scheme and harbors estranged thoughts on the ml being the main reason her family and people met their downfall when the root cause was the brother.

I’m not a fan of the fl, but do understand it’s bc this adaptation is different than the novel which leaves out crucial details which makes her seem like a naive idiot.

I heard her character development happens FAST but idk in which chapter bc I want to skip the headache…

I remember how uke’s self respect was below ground level like stand up. So frustrating seeing him be weak to seme and going back to him again and again after the break up

Why are they introducing a frustrating side story with a fl with no backbone the EMPEROR loves her, so she could throw a damn tantrum and no one can say shit, but she chooses to sit quiet… WHY?!?

14 chapters in and the only person I like is the ml’s mother, the only one who treated the fl with kindness and respect, that even the fl doesn’t have for herself.

Ml is obviously a pos, idk what that blondie is up to but she has suspicious moments of trying to frame fl, and the fl is so… like girl… pls stop simping and blushing over the mf who called you a vulgar, promiscuous, evil, snake like bitch and has pure hate in his eyes. It’s so cringe to see her smiling like a goof to him and making playful jokes as if he hasn’t been constantly shaming and bringing her down at every chance. And it’s not even the purposeful type of joking and kind behavior she’s doing to lower his guard and make herself look better, but she genuinely said she “can’t stop teasing him” like cmon girl get up off the ground. He literally called her a hostage and she overhears this yet still simps and swoons at his face and body like a dumbass.

If the most handsome man in the world, Felix from stray kids, looked at me with MALICE in his eyes and poison in his words you bet my heart would drop, and I would no longer look at him with yearning.

I’m at the part where they accuse her of sending their family info to her family, and ml is all of a sudden acting honorable saying shit like “the trial will be unbiased I swear on it” after seeing her cry (which was understandable, but damn girl don’t let these assholes see you broken down!!)

And I already know it’s gonna happen and I’m dreading it, but after ml helps clear her accusations, she again, will swoon for the bare basic minimum and sorry excuse of a man that is the ml.

It’s still real early on, and I hope she stops the swooning IMMEDIATELY, and give the same energy back to the ml. Hell I wish she was more of a bonafide villainess.
