Just started reading up till 28 and i really need someone to analyze their dynamics, it would honestly be a good video essay.

To be fair though, Seyeong (MC) was the first one to lie. While to Seyeong, what he did might not be something important, it was very important to Heejae. Probably it also came off that way because they both have PTSD, which has Seyeong pushing everyone away because he's scared of being hurt again, and Heejae relentlessly chasing because he doesn't want to be abandoned again. They both mellow out once they realize the other is staying for good ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

As an south east Asian kid( not all sea kids are like this), these kind of abuse happens frequently, though they are starting change and I'm glad it's changing. The perspective of Yangsheng resonates with me because my family is my number 1 priority, I would do alot of things to keep them happy but there are things that are beyond my capabilities to do so, like I really can't come out to them because our relationship will shrink, I'd rather live a life hiding my secret and take it to my grave rather than telling them. My parents will absolutely not do the same as what Yangsheng's parents did but they would definitely cut me off. Some of my friends too, would rather marry a woman than having no contacts with their families.
That dude look so sexy, kinda wish I get to pound him too
