So basically, All the 3 Mls are/were obsessed with Helena to the point where they would ignore her feelings and priorities their own. Helena, being the maid that she is cannot really do anything as she has no power, even when she regained her noble status it wasn't enough power to do what she wants. Even when ML forced her to marry her the marriage wasn't fruitful. Now that our Fl has reincarnated and shows no interest in the Imperial/noble family this intrigues all the Mls to want her. Something that they ignored and disregarded isn't showing the bit or interest or emotion as before?! What! No way!! type of stuff, gross. What self-centered, arrogant and dominant "mls" we have. It's too much to even call them that.

Fiancee (Crown Prince). Doesn't like it when things he don't like don't show interest in him. Eris sudden turn in behaviour makes him intrigued. He wants her but she puts more distance

Jason. There's really not much about. It's hinted that he and the priest both killed Anakin.

Priest. They say he's the craziest of them all. He is Eris half-brother from a dancer mother. He holds the power to bring a person back to life. In this case, tries to bring back Eris despite her wishes cause he loves her. He knows the souls are different but it's kind of weird since in that world they are related by blood.

Annakin. Only one who gets the concept of love and respect. He loves Eris enough to know the boundaries and assists her in her goals knowing that she wants to leave. Their feelings are obvious but they chose not to act on it. Perfect person to end her life as he, besides the witch, have loved and respected her in every which way.

Also when Eris stabbed Helena in the second time to kill her then went off it doesn't seem the MLs were too concerned about that because they wanted to make sure Eris was alive and "ok". They wanted to find Eris because they "loved" her (more like possess; object) even though they have no concept of love because that required understanding and respect (which they clearly don't have). Annakin burns her body to which crazy priest cannot resurrect her so both him and Jason kill Annakin. Helena is most likely dead at this point so now the trash MLs have no Eris and no Helena. Spoilers hint that Annakin then meets Eris back in her real world.

I'm not sure about the romance part in this novel. Till the chapters I've read, she has only treated Anakin as a npc. I read this in another thread that this novel mainly focuses on Eris going back to her org world. Romance isn't much of a priority. The novel beautifully portrays how one can't control falling in love but what one can control is whether to act on it or not. Eris did have feelings for Anakin but for her, her main priority was to go back to her world and so she never acted on her feelings.

As a previous spoiler mentioned, yes hybris is Eris's stepbrother. They're half siblings. So what happened was hybris's mother was an exotic dancer and she spent a night with the Marquis. She then got pregnant but didn't tell him about it because her child would be taken away from her if she did. So she hides the fact and takes shelter in the temple. Since Hybris grew up in the temple, he gets influenced by the lifestyle and decides to be a priest. By the time Marquis got to know about it, it was quite late as he had already become a high priest.

So Prometheus is like a father figure to Hybris. He was an ordinary priest but one day he got a prophetic dream. He knew it was not from the god but from a divine being. It's because god would never talk to the priests. But he hid this, and told everyone that he got a divine prophecy from the god. And this prophecy got him promoted to high priest.

After Anakin burns Eris’s body, Mc’s soul travels back to her world/Korea. Nothing has changed. She decides to quit her job cuz you only live once and she’ll have some unemployment money to use.

She calls the publishing company and asks them to change the ending because of how sad and unfair it is to Helena and Eris/etc..

Later she’s walking in the streets, crying in the rain. Wondering if Anakin would recognize her in this new body/face.

And that he would definitely recognize her and she would recognize him too.

As she’s still crying, someone holds an umbrella over her head

she looks up and sees a man,

“Anakin?”

Everything was different, but somehow I had a strange conviction. I’ve always been confident that if I meet, I’ll be able to recognize him at first sight.
