If you notice the first few chapters are long but after that, it’s incredibly short to monetize it better.

This makes so much sense because there’s so many manhua with 40-70 chapters and the plot has barely progressed. Especially the ones based on novels where the novel has 10 arcs but the manhua hasn’t progressed beyond the start of the first arc despite having so many chapters of nothing.
