This is a great story but I feel like it just brushed past the fact that Chung was gang raped and tortured... As far as I know, that story was actually based off of Chinese folk lore. Although in the original the fairy is a woman and they don’t really end up happily every after. My guess is that the author didn’t want to do anything disrespectful, so they stopped that one there.

Idk some villains are not liked, but firstly Paolo was basically a god and secondly some villains are quite likable so I was kinda rooting for him but didn't necessarily ship him w Gabriel ╮(￣▽￣)╭
At some point I did ship him w Gabriel, cause u know, a gay relationship between a vampire and a priest...not in the modern times, but when it was considered sinful... soooo forbidden...
But later I really didn't care about the romance... the storyline was mostly fantasy and I loved it.
