ch 89. Skylar has a whole monologue with himself and figures out that he's fallen for cirrus. he then proceeds to tell him to go out since he misunderstood what cirrus meant by "liking him" and they kinda talk about it. Skylar then leaves embarrassed and cirrus goes after him and most likely accepts what Skylar said.
Skylar goes back to school and his father finds out and comes after him resulting in him beating cirrus. they go home then because the red head came and saw everything

cp 90 in the car there's the most heartbreaking conversation between them and being the fucker his father is, it's not ending good.
cirrus go to see Skylar again and he invites him over (when no one's home)

we find out that cirrus is moving out. and he only invited Skylar to help him pack everything lmao.
Skylar bought some sparkler candles and after they ate they go outside to light them (cute interaction).
outside they talk again, and Skylar asks him to move together once they're at university. so they can take care of each other when they're sick, they could cook for Candy, they wouldn't be lonely.
cirrus. shocked. just like me. asks probably the biggest character development question that could ever exist..
he asks for consent to kiss Skylar. and they did it.

must be a great author when you can feel their characters' intimacy and connection just by a simple question that's not directly intended to be romantic/sexual. my heart low-key skipped a beat. I just really wished that OldXian would more free and show us MORE of them all (like give some special screentime for the other two too, they've been neglected )

If what everyone's saying is true regarding the fact that Skylar asked Cirrus on a date, I do really hope nothing will be rushed.. because they both need to heal themselves first, otherwise their relationship will become toxic and will only destroy them more than they already are. I don't think Skylar is over his friend and Cirrus is definitely not mentally stable to love someone with a traumatic past when he's in such a bad place himself. But I think it's important if they start to overcome this together and get comfortable at least around each other's presence. I have faith in Cirrus he's not gonna fuck up again and that we're gonna see a change in his messed up mind soon enough. I really DO WANT to forgive him but I need to see things change and his parents dead (by my bare hands).
